Day 35 Bahia Honda State Park Day 14

It is so hard to believe this is our last day here. We relaxed and spent the day sitting outside enjoying the good weather. Later we took a hike  that brought us to the shores of the beach and its beautiful aqua waters.

         

We had done some research and discovered that there was walk-in availability at the John Pennekamp CG in Key Largo. We will be  going there to see if we can get a site for an additional 2-3 days. It would be nice if that worked out.

It will feel weird to move out of here. It has become our little place in the sun. And we have survived quite nicely without TV. Not that we watch much but now we know we don’t need it at all and can busy ourselves with other things.

Ron is not happy because we are in the turning point of our trip heading North! We still have just under three weeks left so we’ll have lots more sunshine before getting home to the snow and cold.

We took our last ride around the park and I’m still amazed at the low bridge that sits so close to the CG.

Well, it was a great two weeks but we had to get back and start preparing for our departure.
