We cannot believe we have already been here for 12 days. It has flown by so quickly and we thought we would not be able to tolerate being in the same place for so long. But we have and we love it here in paradise.
Carolyn and Jack arrived around 11:15 am and we sat outside chatting and catching up since our visit with them in Boynton Beach. Of course we discussed the blizzard and although feeling a little “guilty” we’re glad we weren’t there. Tom called and told us he was sitting in front of our driveway with his pick-up truck and plow and since our regular plow guy was out cleaning the streets of Raynham Tom offered to plow the driveway. He even plowed out a spot for the MH. Thank you, Tom , you did a great job!!!

After lunch we showed Carolyn & Jack around Bahia Honda State Park. It is quite pretty here with lots to see and do if so inclined.
We took them to the bridge to nowhere where I lost my Gilligan hat to the wind.
Back at the MH we chatted then took a ride to look for some Key Deer. Unfortunately it was a little to early and they were not prancing about.
We arrived at Boondocks for dinner and to listen to the band Alter Eagles, an Eagles tribute band. We all loved the Eagles so we were anticipating a very good evening.
Boondocks is an open air restaurant and bar reminding us of the open air restaurants in Hawaii. It was a beautifully warm night with good company. The drinks were good, food great and open fire pit amazing.
The band began playing at 7 pm and were just great. They played until after 10 pm and we sang and danced along to our favorite songs.

Back at the MH we decided to take a walk on the bridge to nowhere to check out the night skies. In retrospect, it probably wasn’t the brightest idea to take a walk through the park in the pitch dark with little flashlights but the sky was incredibly beautiful and the view from the bridge at night lovely. We got there and back safely so it was worth the night walk. LOL
We talked and laughed until we turned in at 11:30 pm. It was a great day and night here in paradise with good friends.
