Once again, another beautiful day in the 80’s with bright sunshine.
From what I am reading we got hit pretty hard back home with the blizzard. Tom was without power but not sure about our neighborhood just yet. Can’t believe that massive storm hit on the same day as the Blizzard of ‘78! Hope everyone at home is doing ok. We did speak to Ron’s 87 year old Mother and she was one of the lucky Tauntonian’ s who didn’t lose power. Ron’s sister Linda has sent us pictures of the snow accumulating outside her door in Billerica. They are getting hit really hard.
Not much planned except cleaning the MH. I do the daily basic cleaning but after a month it needs a deep cleaning so Ron and I will be doing that in preparation for our friends coming to spend the night on Sunday. By 4 pm we were done , showered and headed down the road to get some pizza. Yes, we found a pizza place with working ovens. LOL The pizza was delicious and the evening temps had cooled to a mere 75 degrees. LOL
We took our nighttime walk with Jewel and again admires the beautiful stars in the sky. The lack of ambient light allows visibility of the stars that is such a treat. We are so used to glimpsing only a few stars once in a while at home because of all the light pollution so we are drinking this in every night.
We have noticed that the noise from the traffic on the bridge is almost non-existent. After thinking about it for a while we realized that with the cooler weather (when we arrived) the expansion joints must have shrunk causing the clunking sounds when vehicles passed over them. No that the weather has warmed the joints have expanded and little to no noise at all.
